Hi, my name is Chris Burford and I am a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience in both the NHS and Private sector. I qualified from the University of the West of England in Bristol in 1997, but was born and bred in Aughton near Ormskirk. I have worked in various places around the country but gravitated back home and have worked in our local area ever-since. 

Over the years in my profession I have experienced patients with reduced hearing due to excessive earwax and have heard their distress at having to wait long periods of time for appointments to have Ear Irrigation. This motivated me to become qualified in Ear Irrigation in order for me to maximise my patient’s health and wellbeing.

I love this aspect of my job because the benefit to patients is often so instant and dramatic once the wax is successfully removed.
